Yesterday Jon and I went on our first hike of the season! Since we didn't want to do a very long hike, we decided on hitting up the trail at Cypress Falls. It's nice and short, we finished in about 2 hours.
Overall it's a nice hike and waterfall is pretty cool - I was personally more interested in how the rocks have eroded over time because of the rushing water. There were some 'forks in the road' throughout the trail so I have a suspicion that this 2 hour trail could have lasted much longer. I would recommend this hike if you want something short but necessarily too easy.
Just a side note: I am SO EXTREMELY happy I invested in a waterproof rain jacket because it was pouring rain yesterday, but that didn't matter, I was still able to enjoy the beauty that is British Columbia, without feeling like a wet rat. Yes!
Enjoy just a few snapshots!
